To be eligible, you’ll need to provide one of the following forms of ID. The details on your ID must match the name on your Defence Discount Service account and, where applicable, the service number you signed up with.

MOD letter addressed to you
Armed Forces pension document in your name, showing that you’re receiving an Armed Forces pension
Common reasons ID is declined
The name on your ID doesn’t match the name on your account
You submitted your family member’s service records instead of your own
