  • Adult Instructors in Cadet Forces

  • Air Training Corps

  • Army Cadet Corps

  • Sea Cadet Corps

  • Combined Cadet Force

To be eligible, you’ll need to provide one of the following forms of ID. The details must match the name on your Defence Discount Service account and, where applicable, the cadet unit you signed up with.

✅ Acceptable ID

Payslip (adult instructors)

  • Name

  • Cadet force affiliation

  • Dated within the last 3 months

Completed cadet form (from the Defence Discount Service website)

  • Name

  • Cadet force affiliation

  • Stamped by your unit

3822 book or screenshot of ‘MyRAFAC’ app

  • Name

  • Date of birth (must be 16+)

Type B Commission Certificate / Commissioning Scroll

  • Name

  • Cadet force affiliation

⚠️ Common reasons an ID may be declined

  • The name on your ID doesn’t match the name on your account

  • We couldn’t confirm your cadet force affiliation from your payslip

  • The cadet form wasn’t fully completed or stamped
